This is Eric Parr, My background in business, taxes, and financial products is something I learn on every day and I really believe that I can bring some value to the Albanian community.  Below is a letter that I would like to publish in your website.  I’d like to work with you to come up with a time and place for me to do a presentation specifically for the community.    I had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with the Albanian Community of Cleveland in 2000 when I was working as a recruiter just out of college. The overall work ethic, friendliness, and desire to better your lives was infectious and admirable. Fast forward 16 years and I am happy to hear all of the success stories that are coming out of the community. I know many of you are home gardeners, planting seeds in the spring and enjoying the fruits of your labor throughout the summer and fall. I too enjoy gardening and the metaphor that it provides for life itself. We have to invest in ourselves like we do our time in the garden. Planting the seed of continuous education is something that will always bear fruit. That is why I am writing this for you to read. Since moving from Cleveland in 2005 I have worked for my father in the family insurance agency my Grandfather started in 1950. I purchased this business from him on April 1st, of 2016 and have learned many things I would like to share with you. I am very concerned about the financial well-being of my clients and my own family. The state of the economy has been shaky at best since I first met any of you. I have seen the effects of this in my home town of Mansfield and know that many people are living paycheck to paycheck. The costs of goods and services continues to rise while many of our incomes do not keep up. The idea of investing what little we have left over at the end of the month makes me very nervous. Yet we are told that 401k’s, 403b’s, and deferred compensation plans are the ticket to financial freedom. I strongly disagree with this statement for many reasons. I will be in Cleveland to discuss why I feel this way and share some information of how to better protect yourselves in the future.
